Refund Policy
At Make A Journey, transparency is the foundation of our bond. Here is how we handle refunds.
1. Nature of Services
Since travel involves real-time reservations with hotel partners and private transport, physical “returns” are not applicable. All refund requests are evaluated based on our pre-defined cancellation windows.
2. Refund Eligibility
Adjustable Portion
Only the land package cost is eligible for adjustment based on the cancellation timeline.
Non-Adjustable
Bhutan Permit fees, Government SDF, and special peak-season non-refundable hotel bookings.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are not provided for: No-shows, early departures, unused itinerary services, or disruptions caused by weather/natural calamities (Force Majeure).
4. Processing Timeline
Once your refund is approved, the amount will be credited to your original payment mode within 7–14 working days. You will receive a formal notification once processed.
5. Rescheduling Options
Instead of a refund, Make A Journey offers you the flexibility to reschedule your journey or opt for a Credit Note for future travel, valid for 1 year.
